Analysis of the Buried Pipeline Response Induced by Twin Tunneling Using the Generalized Hermite Spectral Method

For the sustainability of economic, ecological and social development, safety infrastructure, including buried pipelines, is extremely important. Undercrossing tunneling can compromise pipelines because deformations, cracks dislocations, which result in wasted resources, environmental pollution economic losses. Therefore, it important to assess pipeline response accurately during tunnel excavation. This paper proposes a generalized Hermite spectral solution estimate induced by twin tunneling.
